What Adoptest is
A test suite for documentation.
Adoptest checks whether material can be followed without guessing and whether it still agrees with the source that defines it. It does not write your content.
The problem
Documentation doesn't fail loudly. It just quietly stops matching.

What Adoptest is not
We don't write your documentation.
We check that what you have already written is still true. A tool that generates the docs and then verifies them is an auditor working for the thing it audits.

A model reads. Only code judges.
A model reads prose into structured steps because finding where one instruction ends and the next begins is a language problem. Deterministic code decides whether two things agree.
Ask twice, get the same answer.
Each reading is recorded and reused. Rechecking unchanged material returns the same result, not a fresh opinion that happens to agree. Model-contributed findings are labelled and can only add a finding, never remove one.
Release-gated, not constant.
Draft edits to a source are not drift. A document that lags an in-progress spec is still correct. Adoptest reacts when a source is released, so you get one alert that matters instead of a hundred that don't.
A record of what was verified.
Each check and approval is kept as a timestamped, hash-verified record: the page version, the source version, a content hash of both and who signed off. So you can answer what was verified, and against what.

The app runs entirely inside the host platform and makes no external network calls on any tier. The only exception is link checking, which contacts a linked site only when you switch it on. Content is read, compared and discarded within a single check. We store only versions, hashes, approvals and findings you have already seen. Where a model reads content, it runs inside the host platform. Your content still does not leave.
